Quadrumvirate: The Journey of Love

Love says hi in the distance and prepares for his long trip. It has been years since his last meal. He likes to keep a light diet because of his several adventures around the globe. Love walks in a forest, with a water bottle, flies with no seat, no ticket, no arrival time, no luggage. Love swims without knowing about the waters, and no swimming suit because of his limited sense of style.

Love does not complain for his solitude, he cherishes every day. He enjoys talking to strangers about what they really want to talk about. At the end, as per usual, he likes to give advice. Sometimes, he needs to review his map, he hasn't updated his technology. He uses old-school maps, it is easy to get lost in a big place.

He has never celebrated his birthday, he doesn't have one. He doesn't care about numbers anymore, he is timeless. He drinks water instead of coffee, and tea instead of soda. He likes to feel right about himself. He wears shorts, and t-shirts when the weather allows it.

At times, he launches on the clouds, reads the newspapers, and wonders if his travels have been worth it. He is focused on delivering his final product. He doesn't like to get distracted with so many colorful books, he picks one after the other, and remembers that he is timeless. He slides down the pole and sees his destination. He needs to take a bus. He has been there, but he doesn't quite remember. He makes a phone call and the receiver answers promptly.

Receiver: Hello, P's family? How can I help you?

Love: Meet me at M.

Receiver: No time to meet anyone, sorry.

Love: You will not regret it, I am tired.

Receiver: I have no time, I said!

Love:  I am so sorry to hear that, I am timeless. Meet me at a safe place, I implore you.

Receiver: A safe place sounds kind of ok, I guess.

At a safe place Receiver goes with his pack...

Love: I don't mind waiting, I am timeless.

Receiver: I can't say the same. Tell me, what do you need from me?

Love: I don't think I need anything from you, instead, you need something from me.

Receiver: I have everything I need and even if I needed anything else, I wouldn't ever ask or tell anyone. I am isolated.

Love: Don't you realize your skin is not as it used to be?

Receiver: That's not your business. At least, I have a stable job, savings, a retirement plan,  a fancy place where to live, a car and a pack...

Love: You are missing something in your life....

Receiver: It is too late. I am old anyways, no matter how much I do, this is how my life is...

Love: Well, now you have me, and someone from your pack requested a special service for you.

Receiver: I have no words.

Love: You have no words, I know. I have seen how much you struggle to communicate with others, but it doesn't mean you don't have a life. You have an opportunity every minute of your existence. Make this journey worth it.

Receiver: Nonsense speaks nonsense. I am leaving now.

Love: Wait! Once last thing, put your glasses on.

Receiver: I don't listen to anyone.

Love: You will not see me again if that's what you want.

Receiver: I have my glasses on now. Please hurry up, I have no time to waste.

Love: Thank you. Now, get closer to this strange-looking device.

Receiver: What is that?

Love: Sometimes you don't need to know what things are, you just need to know how they make you feel.

Receiver: Can you stop talking like a bumper sticker?

Love: I will talk your words then.

Receiver: What do I do now?

Love: Close your eyes.

Receiver: I have no TIME I HAVE SAID!

Love: Now, open your eyes and see through the binoculars. These devices help you to see things in the distance.

Receiver: I always thought that things in the distance were things that didn't exist.

Love: You are somehow correct, there are very few things that can remain in the distance. Remember, it doesn't mean that they don't exist, it just means that you need a binocular to see them. Tell me, what do you see?

Receiver: Ohh, well, I see nothing as I said. I have to work tomorrow and now you messed my schedule. Thank for nothing Mr... what's your name?

Love: I have no name

Receiver: Everyone has one.

Love: Well, not me.

Receiver: Why do you wear a paper bag on your face?

Love: No ones needs to see my face, they only need to listen to my words

Receiver: Nonsense speaks nonsense.

Love: Do you see like a yellow spot?

Receiver: Yes, I see it. It is shining a lot, growing, I see orange, blue and green rays. Is that an explosion?

Love: Not exactly. That's how love feels like when it is true and one of your pack keeps loving you. I am leaving now.

Receiver: Please don't go! Tell me more. I do have words.

Love: It is too late. I have no time.
